I had no idea there was a Wolfenstein show in development. Please, be good!
I had forgotten. There’s just so much stuff coming out in every medium, it’s impossible to keep up really.
Machine Games is top tier developper, on par with id, in my opinion. Seeing were they left things off in Wolfenstein 2 and Young Blood, it will be some kind of epic trilogy finale. I can’t wait to see what they have been cooking. It’s been a while since Young Blood.
Completely agreed, in regards to MachineGames (one of my favorite devs in the entire industry). In today’s time, people need the reminder about Nazism (recognizing, handling, etc.)…
I’ve been playing a lot of Youngblood since the end of last year, so I’ll be ready for this one day one.
I’m a bit biased right now because I played Indiana Jones again recently and I now admire their accomplishment even more. So much talent there.
Machine Games’ is also thought to be working on a Rainbow Six Siege-like multiplayer title, although I’ve heard that Wolfenstein III is also on the cards to coincide with the upcoming Wolfenstein Amazon TV show.
What’s also interesting is that Machine Games is working on a multiplayer game ? I just hope that it’s not taking too much ressources, but with their pedigree, I’m cautiously optimistic.
I am laughing at the usual weirdos that try to shit on the game and MachineGames (TNC apparently is a bad game lol), I’ve even read that MS will influence the development of the game so much that it will not have nazis as the antagonists…talking about full delusional/dumb AF stuff. ![]()
But yeah enough with the weirdos…hopefully the rumor is true because I love the franchise and the studio so much. MachineGames have been such an underrated studio since the release of TNO, can’t wait to see what they have in store next!
Kotaku also heard things.
The possibility of the game was mentioned in a post by Windows Central‘s Jez Corden, and Kotaku can confirm it’s true from our own sources.
If done right this has the potential to be even bigger than Fallout in terms of mainstream appeal. Without being too political, I feel like the timing of a new game and tv series is far more pertinent now then it would have been say, a decade ago.
Kotaku has sources???
