Translation: “You want war? You got one” -Microsoft
Not taking anything away from Amazon, but this game is 3 years old. You can’t make a broken mess when you’re just the publisher of a already developed game.
Yeah for real. Their actual developed game is doing… not even remotely as great as it was at launch.

Still a decent chunk of players, but if it actually had post game content it would prolly be 200k+. Plus they took away players ability to see server population so that people couldnt avoid dying servers.
still this is paid version, i think you buy a pack and you will get early access. the free version will be out in 3 days.
amazon right now have better track record than Google, they can compete if they choose to
their game started big but the studio fk it up all. if it was in very good state then the game would have players in 100000
Its a really big problem with live service games recently. All of them launch, are successful, but they have NO content ready until 6 months after launch and it absolutely kills their game. Fall guys is a prime example of this.
Edit: just noticed this is in the wrong thread, lol
nah, in this scenario they just wanna cash in when a bigger fish makes a purchase like MS, Tencent, or even Amazon. I can’t recall or find online but they have done something similar in the past

Budget down lads
There is no budget for MS.
Not available. Was the tweet deleted? Or is it only available for followers or locked to certain regions?
Explains why Lionhead shut down tbh

For reference, their market cap is 4.3 billions.
Thanks, im not against MS being in Japan, I just want them to start by building relationships with these kind of devs.
Only studios whose names begin with a W
Narrator: “There is indeed budget for Microsoft”
Narrator also: “It covers everything that’s a major player not named Sony or Tencent”
I wouldn’t necessarily call that the budget. Having 100k on the bank account doesn’t mean the budget for the wedding is 100k.
Microsoft needs to pay dividends and there are shareholders that keep everything in check.
Of course, however for the right buy, money will be accessible if MS find it fits thier long term goals
