They already recapped their summer showcase in Japanese a week after the showcase doing it again would be very weird but I guess it’s possible lol.
I don’t think they’ll ever announce anything big at TGS simply because it’s not a big or global event.

Because their aim is different, at least for Xbox. They will use it to promote their ecosystem in Japan and close markets. Game Pass additions, upcoming Japanese games, games added or returning to the ecosystem, xCloud, and updates on their games relevant to Japan like localization, and when they do eventually get Japanese 1st party content they’ll show it there too but not announce it there, I don’t think.
