Yeah, but you’re a swede. You guys learn and speak english better than any non-english speaking country I’ve ever heard…hell even the some of the english speaking ones. You’ve got Scotland beat by a country mi…eh…kilometer
Heavily depends on the market. In USA - Xbox’s position is very strong. Arguably in Brazil too. Europe? Not really.
But these debates are old as hell.
What JRPG would you expect to be shown if it does show something? I would not see the newest Star Ocean being among them, however i would laugh if a Phantasy Star JRPG exclusive for Xbox was revealed.
I hope so, maybe we will see a something like Persona, one of the games from Spike Chunsoft (Considering their games have been finding success within the Xbox platform i would not be surprise by it) like Ai Somnium Files: Nirvana Initiave(Which i can genuinely see becoming a part of game pass, either day one or after this year`s TGS) or Enigma Archives: Rain Code, a new JRPG made by Bandai Namco or a port of a franchise that was only or both on either playstation or nintendo(Outside of Persona, cause it´s obvious that the games, 3-5, will be porting to Xbox).
What kind of JRPG ports do you guys and gals think will appear on Xbox?
Just had a look for the showcases for fallout 4 and fallout 76 at their relative E3s to get an idea how long they were, to guess what we can expect for Starfields showcase. Fallout 4’s showcase was a whooping 30 minutes, while 76 was just over 20
Keep in mind these were at bethesda showcases that wouldnt have had much else to show and needed to pad out the runtime, hell 2018 had CG trailers for Starfield and Elder Scrolls Hammerfell to meet the quota
30 minutes is very unlikely to happen at an MS showcase, especially if they have a lot to want to show. id like to see 20 minutes like 76, but even that may be pushing it. It could be that they have to limit it to 10 minutes. Keep in mind a shorter showing isnt nessacarily bad, itll streamline whats shown and only show the eseentials, trimming off the fat. just hope they have time to show off enough to satisfy the masses
This is tough for me to answer because my hopes are for something that’s unannounced or only in project stage.
Something like Atlus’s Project Refantasy would be mind blowing but I am not sure if that’s ready to be shown yet.
For ports I’m expecting Persona. Not sure if it’ll be here, but someday. Soul Hackers can’t be the only thing Xbox wringed from Atlus. It just cannot be.
Either the show will have more content and less deep, or less content and more deep dives. As they are making a single show, I hope there are separate deep dives or something. Also maybe some announcements were moved to Summer Game Fest.
From Bethesda we are getting Redfall (at least we should at this point) and Starfield 100%. Allegedly ZOS announcement too. From Xbox we will get Forza, Contraband, Avowed at least? Halo probably too. And we don’t know third parties and probably some indie collection. And that’s without monologues from other Phil and co.
10-15 minutes is enough for Starfield. The game will not be released until November. You can be sure that until then we will be constantly bombarded by updates.
I also think the fact that this will be a stream impacts the length too. I don’t think we’ll see the same amount of time on Starfield as we did with Fallout 4. I think you can fit the same amount of content as those presentations in less time when you don’t have to account for audience reactions and what not.
Yeah, it will be shorter simply because doesn’t need to hypnotize the crowd anymore ![]()
How many languages it had before? Just curious.

it’s happening ![]()
Let’s friggin go! ![]()

Obsidian has been quiet all year so far but I really do expect Avowed at the show, it’s definitely time for that. Especially after last year where they said to expect something soon, something must have happened, whatever it was. But it’s definitely time to let it shine now. Especially if it’s a 2023 game.
There’s no way Xbox only covers 2022, no way.
Excited to hopefully get some release dates on Hellblade and Redfall. Hoping to see Perfect Dark gameplay and more of Avowed/Contraband/Fable. And some teasers for Indiana Jones and Project Dragon.
They’ve been pretty open about Grounded at least. It’s supposed to get a full release this year so i’d say that’s a lock for the show.
I don’t know about their medieval mystery game though. It might be too early.
Avowed too early? If this is a 2023 title it’s a perfect moment to show more, and after the teasing by Obsidian themselves last year I would kinda call it late actually, haha. ![]()
Probably means Pentiment by Josh Sawyer
Ah, of course. Wake up Staffy.
Yeah I meant Pentiment lol. Sorry about that
