Knockout City to me will be quiet for a bit but then its going to become viral, this game has Rocket League potential in terms of replay. You can jump into games extremely quick and its super easy to learn and pick up controls. I also love the different strategies you can employ on the go, like becoming a bomb ball, getting to a higher vantage point with your glider, being able to catch the other ball if you time it right.
I’m scared of how good ranked players are going to become when they master this game.

Knockout City is sitting at Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam right now, something practically unheard of for a multiplayer arena game, it’s crazy. I wanna try it sometime soon. Glad to see it having jumped day 1 to gamepass.
By the way, this is from the same studio that made the recent Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit.
So basically Nintendo is on Xbox right now

Velan is a good studio to make these types of games. Something that Xbox should keep an eye on for acq.
There’s at minimum a tutorial and the matches with randoms have been decent fun so far.

Game was released in a very polished state, it’s really fun, and has no bullshit monetization attached. It is the complete opposite of pretty much every AAA MP release nowadays.
Backbone will be released on june, 8 - available day 1 with Xbox Game Pass for PC. An Xbox One version will be released later this year, and it’ll be available on Xbox Game Pass for console as well.

Ya’ll should not sleep on Maneater. It is a lot of fun. Yes the quests are extremely repetitive and yet it doesn’t bore me at all. It’s thanks to how fun it is to swim around in the deep waters, controlling the shark feels great and eating folks is just…it’s lovely really. And the upgrades are awesome.

And you get a really cool narrator that talks plenty but not to the point of being annoying and really reminds me the narrator of Crackdown games.
A few minutes in and holy shit, this is third person AND real-time combat? I was completely expecting a isometric game here.
