I just installed it, it’s got the X|S banner now.
I remember being interested in this one from the dev interview on the Xbox podcast that Larry Hyrb did. Got it in my downloads now

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is now available on Game Pass. It is a Play Anywhere title!
I do have to say that those last few days were incredible for Series X|S owners that subscribe to Game Pass: MechWarrior 5, Maneater, Knockout City, The Wild at Heart are all optimized for the console.

Has anyone tried that yet? I love mechs but don’t know if this game is for me.
Slightly panicking at seeing all these games I want to play, whilst I’m sinking 100+ hours into DOS2 lol…
There are so many games on Game Pass I want to try.

"Still no sign that Game Pass cannibalizes sales volume. "

" Still signs that Game Pass may increase sales volume due to networking effect. "

Anyone else playing Maneater and having one hell of a time? Yep, it’s repetitive, nope I don’t mind too much. I love this whole concept.

Yeah that “debate” seems to be exclusive to non-Xbox fans… funny that.

I think Matt is saying that sarcastically, he doesn’t think the debate is needed or valid anymore, he said in another reply to the tweet that its the general game industry which is still conservative and coming to grips with new models of engagement and business so the debate shall continue until the industry gets naturally adapted to and evolve to recognize these new models as something here to stay. Remember. he was the one who said Gamepass isn’t sustainable, because sustainable is to mean working in a way the industry allows to remain profitable while the industry remains the same, but gamepass shall evolve the industry itself, so in that sense, Gamepass is “beyond sustainable”.

That makes more sense in this case! It’s still true though for a lot of others.

Just played Knockout city, one game I wouldn’t buy but would always be interested in, but thanks to Game Pass got to download it right away.
The game is extremely fun and has a blast playing it with friends
