well at least we get hope to get FH5/STARFIELD and HALO gameplay trailers, the rest of First party and Publishing will be a mix is my guess.

Starfield will overshadow even Halo. Might as well not show a single game besides Starfield if thats the logic we are going for.

But Starfield will be at E3 next year too, even bigger because expect that deep dive there. This would actually be a really good time compared to E3 2022. Or are they actually going to ask Obsidian not to have the trailer until after Q4 (Starfield release)? I can’t believe that.
Unless they do keep it for XO21 and no Starfield there. It’s a possibility.

What happens if Starfield ends up Q4 2022? We are gonna hold Avowed hostage till E3 2023 and not launch the game till almost 2024? We gonna do this for every rpg when BGS has a game coming out? Pff

nah this is E3 we are def getting someeeeeeee CGI for a new announce, its the law for E3 showcases that no publisher ever denies lol, but this time we will def get a healthy mix which is great.
“Everything is gameplay” has not been the case for like any event ever and won’t be the case for this one either. While I agree more gameplay than last year is a must, some things simply make sense to be announced early via cinematics/CGI, and that includes some things that will get announced in less than 3 weeks.

And with showing gameplay from a game that is still far away, I don’t know, it shows confidence. The team is confident, let them do it I say! It will be a real good look for Xbox, Obsidian and for anyone that is a RPG lover. Sending a clear message what Xbox means now. It will take away “fears” that some still have that Xbox is afraid to show off games too soon too. Unless it’s all CG, then it’s perfectly understandable.
Yep no publisher ever has gameplay only at these event showcases and it wont change now, some brand new announcements will be CG, but this show will have a much better balanced mix than last years.

Since Wasteland 3 was my game of the last generation, it’s probably understating it to say that I’m giddy beyond belief to play this next Thursday.

Oh boy oh boy, folks at Starfield Reddit are really setting themselves up for disappointment. Several are expecting a gameplay demo of the game, they are like “so the show is 90. We can easily get 20 minutes or more from Starfield.” and it’s clear many genuinely believe in a 2021, totally ignoring even Jason. I wouldn’t do this, but yeah.
What exactly is childlish about my response Hindle? That you cant handle a simple refutation using your same logic is not my fault and I am not directing any personal attacks at you either to be demeaning my responses.
You say Avowed cant be in the show because it will be overshadowed by Starfield when reality there is little overlap aside from Genre. If it was Elder Scrolls instead Id agree on holding one of the games but the reality is that starfield is right now the biggest draw at Xbox and may even overshadow the Halo conversation and by extension any other game thats put in the show.

I think even Shpeshal Nick got wrong about perfect dark too ( that’s what I remember sorry if im wrong) or maybe jez i can’t remember but not only Jeff who got wrong in perfect dark
Actually this happened before a short time before the game awards but before that he said perfect dark is in work and he said perfect dark will not be in xbox game showscase last year but he got wrong about third person
In the same day of the game awards he was writing an article about it before it announced
So I’m sure he have a good source and im 90% sure its from microsoft but he sometimes makes mistakes
like the starfield situation I’m 90% sure All what he know is from the xbox insider not from Bethesda
And in elden Ring he said specific it will not be at ( xbox e3) then he thinks it will be not there at all because that so what he know about it is from microsoft insider and im think elden Ring will be shown…
