FTR, I am not at all suggesting they’re developing KI, I’m just providing a bit of a reality check when people make declaratives not backed by data.
Iron Galaxy is possible but wouldn’t the chosen studio want to one that Microsoft has the possiblity of bringing in house?

I’m not a fan of fighting games but I’d be down for a new Killer Instinct. I’d probably give it a go regardless.
KI might be not be everyone’s type of game, but it sure is important for Xbox as a whole.
All these theories and we still dont even know if it’s actually happening yet 
KI unfortunately had to deal with being an XB1 game and all of the controversy it brought
