I dont remember which podcast that was . Its been months . ![]()
Wait, how old is this rumour? I thought we were talking about something recent.
I think its been 2 months . Not sure .
Yeah it was October time frame
October is recent enough.
If that rumor is true the only thing that makes sense to me is Splinter Cell.
I remember that splinter cell rumors starting coming out a day or 2 after she said that . So its most probably that .
Thinking at this presentation for Hellblade 2: Heilung live performance, flames, Melina and dancers performance, at the end Melina goes down, light goes off, Xbox games studios world premiere, gameplay starts with Senua waking up.
What a dream would be?
It seems likely that “soon” was just a throw away statement, intended to give a cursory acknowledgement of the fans being disappointed at not seeing Avowed at E3. In a game with the scope of something like Pillars or Tyranny it wouldn’t be as impactful, but with a game like Avowed every word will be parsed and therefore “soon” equating to being a year out would be extra rough.
sheeeeeeeesh ![]()
this would be magnificent.
I have this crackpot theory that on the live stream on Twitch and YouTube, Keighley’s sound guy muted the crowd’s reaction to make it seem like it wasn’t a big moment.

Some of you Geoff haters are beyond weird
I’ll leave it at this: I’m tired of him trying to act impartial when I know he’s not. I’ll drop it.
There were videos on YouTube from the crowd which has an entirely different intensity to it than the official video stream.
Can confirm watched several reveal videos and the crowd went nucking futs with crowd audio.
This. Apparently they didn’t have mics for the crowd to broadcast the cheers.
No one is truly impartial. I don’t like him either, but I try to judge him on what he does at the moment. I know FH5 and Halo Infinite are not there and it’s kind of annoying, but there’s reasons for that, even though I don’t agree with these reasons.
We’ll see in a few days, but I think he is warming up to Xbox, now that they really make a competition. He mostly goes where the fans are and I think he has always put some spotlights on Xbox games before, even though it was a bit cold sometimes. I think the Game Awards have been great for Xbox overall these past few years. I mean the Xbox Series X, Hellblade 2, Perfect Dark ??
To his defense, I think his show is great for highlighting some of the smaller games and studios, even if they don’t win. And I would have probably not pay much attention to Disco Elysium if not for them winning an award in 2019.
