Hellblade 2 and Redfall and both gameplay would be pretty awesome ngl, y’all here just expecting them to put everything, and only these two will feel disappointing to you.

Only two things would be somewhat disappointing.
Hellblade and Redfall would be a disappointing combination to me.
I’m still adamant on HB and Cobalt and something from XGSP - Belfry or the Kojima game. Maybe Shaolin? Outside shot Coalition’s new IP for recruitment purposes.
nothing better than the combination of a single player cinematic melee action adventure and a multiplayer live service looter shooter.

I feel like saying live service “looter shooter” is a disrespect to Arkane’s name even though Redfall is probably that 
There should be more than two games IMO, but it is what it is.
yeah , there was a leak with alot of screenshots of an early build and the leaker described the game as Borderlands but with vampires
Hellblade 2 gameplay trailer, Redfall gameplay trailer and the reveal of the Halo TV show would be a great night imo, maybe 1 other surprise that could top it off.

Borderlands was ahead of this looter shooter craze and it’s actually a prestige game to an extent. I want Redfall more on that side please

I thought the run-up to E3 and the event itself would have demonstrated not to jump to conclusions before seeing the actual event.

naah it’s precisely that lol, just gotta see what Arkane brings to the genre to take on the behemoths like Borderlands, Warframe, Destiny, Division and the like.
I keep saying it: Microsoft should swing for the fences.
At the TGAs and E3.
They shouldn’t hold back if they have the content to show. They need to strike while the iron is hot. While Xbox is riding this wave of first party momentum.

exactly if they show both hellblade and avowed with a 2-3 min gameplay trailer they would still have content for e3
Starfield gameplay demo , avowed gameplay demo , a gameplay trailer for fable , inxile or compulsion reveal trailer , gears 6 teaser , forza motorsport trailer , josh sawyer rpg , zenimax new mmo teaser so many studios that have things to share

No one disagrees that this should be the case but sometimes with MS you just never know, especially with how and when they present their stuff. So it’s better to make our expectations disappointing-proof
I’ve learned my lesson long ago, people should just temper, always.

Microsoft has never swung for the fences, people need to temper expectations. The last and only time they’ve had a bombshell was maybe 2018 when they announced new studios, and even then they didn’t show gameplay for any of those studios first XGS projects.
If there is going to be any sort of reveal its going to be a game announcement from either XGS or one of the first party studios. Do not expect Hellblade gameplay at the TGA’s, they won’t even have the time to do gameplay demos. Majority of trailers at that show are around 2 minutes, has there ever been a gameplay walkthrough at TGAs?
