Hmm, I see. But has Todd said anything about this at all yet? I mean before someone can say they are stuck in the past…what is it based on? For all we know Todd and team are planning to do things differently now.

i think that avowed and hellblade 2 will be the first games that will show what the curent generation is capable of , horizon forbidden west and god of war ragnarok are both cross gen so they cant reach that potential ( im sure their sequels will look amazing ) , we have seen stalker 2 but i doubt they have the money to make the game as beautiful as they would like
im expecting avowed to look better than stalker 2 which would be insane because stalker 2 looks better than any game released

i can see them using the same formula that was used in skyrim with some small changes , but can you blame him ? the game still sells after 10 freaking years
i hated skyrim , i think that its a stepdown from oblivion , for me everything was better in oblivion , the quests , the atmosphere , the guilds ( god how i hated that i became the leader of the mages guild and that didnt matter at all in skyrim ) but the game didnt sucked for over 30 million players
if i was todd i would definetly try to make my new game in a way that those 30+ million players would buy it
Yeah, I disliked how I was a mage leader after a while and people still said I should go to the college to become a mage and I’m like…bruh!
I loved Skyrim, but it’s true that actual RPG elements and quests were better in Starfield. I think with Game Pass Todd is able to implement elements of the older games more easily, so many more people will get to play it. I think this should mean he can afford more… gambles I guess? During last E3 week he did say in a interview that there were some things that could have been done better in Skyrim and Fallout 4 and he’d like to have those back in Starfield.
We all seem to believe he means deeper RPG elements, I sure hope so.
Todd has specifically said Starfield will be “more like their old games” and more" hardcore" than FO4. So I have no idea what that article is talking about.
