The article said Halo Wars 2 and State of Decay 2 sucked basically…

This would be a great showing to me plus the gamepass announcements and tbh I am kinda happy MS wanna save some stuff for E3 2022 its going to be wild

According to official info it’s great to play solo too, hopefully not “Sea of Thieves” solo like, but actually fun. If the rumors are true that came alongside the leaked pictures it sounds like Borderlands and that immediately excites me, sounds great. Those games are very fun to play solo too.

But it doesn’t help that ever since June it has been dead silence for that game and it’s supposed to release next summer. Hope they come with a stream of some sort soon.

Yeah, a good gameplay trailer at the main show, and then a Starfield E3 Special with an hour of goodness.

I’m starting to think too much pressure is put on Hellblade and NT to deliver on that missing piece of first party games. It should be shared between them, Playground’s Fable, Compulsion’s Midnight, and I believe Coalition’s new project should aim to be that because that was the best part of their output. 4 from XGS. Most likely one from Bethesda, Indiana Jones. MS should support these games and focus on their quality, they’re expensive and hard to perfect, but they will make a difference and fill a hole, and attract new people to Xbox if they’re that good.

Yes, I remain sceptic.

Fable? I don’t see how that fit in that group.

Hellblade 2 and Compulsion yes, Indiana Jones maybe… first person etc.

Thays why I think that Avowed should share the stage with Hellblade 2, here at TGA.

Why not? Third person, single-player, open-world, action RPG, etc.

I might have misunderstood your post.

For me, Hellblade 2 is the only game, so far, that has a good chance of being an Xbox-PS game if you get what I mean.

This is just a prediction based on intuition and little else, but:

Not too certain about 2023 though, but that year is very hard to anticipate. https://venturebeat.com/2021/06/13/xbox-bethesda-e3-2021-where-were-games-like-avowed-perfect-dark-and-fable/

Even if we accept Everwild is a 2024 game after its internal reboot and Fable probably slips into 2024 because of COVID, that still leaves 2023 as incredibly stacked.

(There of course also remains the question of when the elusive Wolfenstein 3 is meant to drop.)

you mean that it competes with the type of games sony makes ?

Agreed, the perfect place to show it, especially when next E3 will have everybody focused on Starfield.

But I think after what Jez said we should have realized it wasn’t going to happen. He seemed very doubtful about it in that article. Can still happen, never say never I guess.

Yes, those games.

Can you explain why? And not the others (especially that we haven’t seen them)?

Maybe we’d rather replicate Nintendo games than Playstations at this point. It’s clear which are more universally popular and get more players.

However, I’d rather Xbox make their own mark and not replicate anyone’s style of games.
