Always good stuff, always something to really look forward to.
I wonder what kind of first party reveals we can expect and what kind of updates on first party games that have been revealed already such as Fable, Clockwork Revolution etc.
And of course third party reveals.
There’s a lot to anticipate, especially for an anniversary. I won’t go too crazy on speculation, but this early announcement and the good vibe Xbox is giving since new regime have given us a reason to be excited.
If you had to guess, think we’ll get something about the next Xbox or very likely not?
Part of me would love that as last year had Xbox Ally X, but I think they will save it elsewhere. Maybe at the Showcase, they will announce something new like how Partner Preview announced a new show called Xbox Presents. Fanfest coming back is the right call and bonus, shed new light on the new leader.
As much as I want to see something, I have my doubts they show anything. Still seems a little early especially with end of 2027 just being a target. what if it slips into 2028 then revealing this summer would be way to early.
That’s true too. In that case a reveal much later in the year would make more sense. Maybe TGA again.
They’ve already announced Helix and confirmed the rumors. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get like a startup animation, the project Helix logo, and a “coming fall 2027” or something. Then I’d say skip TGA because ugh, and reveal the console name & design during the January dev direct, and we’d get the deep dive experience at the 2027 summer showcase.
What is far more likely though is them revealing whatever that backwards compatibility program boost tease was at GDC. That’d definitely be the summer showcase. Hardware wise, now that the Xbox Mode is finalized and after the success of the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally, we might see a similar Xbox Mode optimized desktop Windows gaming PC. It’d make even more sense if the backwards compatibility announcement is related to making the older Gen Xbox version of games (with cloud saves and achievements) natively available on windows.
Nice, quite an early announcement soon. Can’t wait to see gears.
That time of year again for a 3am viewing session 
This year is the last hurrah for current Gen. Next summer will be all about next Gen.
You’re going to get a decade of cross gen.
I would think we might see a little render or a little peek at the motherboard, like with Project Scarlet/
Anyway, can’t wait for the showcase. This should be the best year yet for Xbox studio games
The thing i’m most curious about will be the Asha’s effect if there’s any.
Like for games like GoW or new announcements will there be a PS logo and will they be day 1 or not, i guess it’ll be the same as last year but i wouldn’t discard anything yet.
About games Clockwork and SoD3 is all i need, other than that i’d gladly take Persona / Final Fantasy 7 announcements
