Xbox should just show OD at TGA with a date, even if it’s 2028, then after the announcement, follow up with this, both with “Xbox exclusive” and with Kojima showing up, that’d be one of the most talked things from whats by far the biggest gaming show, one that even trascends gaming actually.

Sony could just counter by showing a new trailer for Fairgame$. Check and mate.

My guess is less than stellar sales on Death Stranding 2 and likely increasing costs on Kojima games combined to make this appear less viable as a Playstation exclusive. The question is - is Xbox planning on making this exclusive as a platform push, or are they just better positioned to take advantage of releasing it as a multiplat. Either way, going from Playstation exclusive to launching on xbox and likely game pass is a win.

It’ll be multi-platform, I reckon, unless it’s something that easily speaks to the casual gamer in a way that Death Stranding doesn’t.

Maybe I’m just being cynical but I feel like this doesn’t happen this way under the previous leadership, probably takes a few days or weeks or never happens. Asha certainly seems to be more in touch for some reason even though she has far less connection to the brand and fanbase, good, I’m looking forward to this, also bring DS2 to Xbox, gotta finish DS1 first though.
