2021 is the best of the last three (2020/2021/2022) for me. lol
Yeah, they had a lot of great games. For me, 9 out of 25. I exclude last generation games and expansions as well as remasters like Diablo 2. For me, it has to be new games or full fledged remakes like RE and Dead Space.
Of the three third party games, I only cared about Far Cry 6 but I am a Ubisoft fanboy and I do love Far Cry for the most part.
The reasons why I want more AAA third party games on the Xbox showcase is that for me, I get more games out of the showcase and if you’re showing say 30 games and im only getting a few, that’s a shitty showcase for me. Last year, they showed 23 games and I only got 4 out of the 23 which is 17%. That’s too freaking low for me. The more games they show, the more likely it is the percentage will decrease so I definitely want more third party AAA games because it will increase the percentage for me in regards to what im personally getting out of the showcase.
Hahaha. I had no problem with stealth in Origins and Odyssey. Valhalla though, the stealth system was broken.
I’m looking forward to Mirage but im not a fan of “blending” which is so stupid because your character is dressed like an assassin with common folks and sticks out like a sore thumb yet no one ever notices you. lol. I heard that there’s eavesdropping and tailing missions. And im like, my God, this shit wasn’t any good a decade ago.
Thankfully, Ubisoft+ will allow me to play and complete the game for a nice $20 monthly rental. Hehehe.

The running joke is that the recent games offer little to no stealth action when you can simply attack them with no repercussions.

Yeah, true but it’s up to the player. With forts in Origins/Odyssey, they would take me 2+ hours to clear out using stealth. If an enemy detects me, then I will fight them but until then, all stealth and I would hide the bodies in haystacks or in those little dressing area type thingy. lol
Black Flag is my favorite AC game but the stealth was very basic and while you could get detected easier, the enemies were so easy to fight via melee combat.
Hopefully, Ubisoft has improved it all for Mirage. But we’ll see.

Fraud. No one knows about acquisition except it’s close to an announcement or you got to see documents like Klobrille did with Obsidian and Playground.
It’s also funny that she wrote it like few hours after the FT article about more budget for Sony acquisition.

I’m already seeing the posts like a picture of RDR2 characters and then “welcome to the family”, poor souls, lmfao. So far Sony’s acquisitions have been pretty unremarkable, aside from Bungie I guess. A truly big one could still happen, just not Rockstar big or CDPR, lmao.

This logic is so flawed. From a Sega perspective, they just introduced an entire Xbox ecosystem to Persona via Gamepass.
There are rumors that P3 remake will be at the Xbox show, continuing the Xbox marketing push for the Persona series. Bet it’s a day one Gamepass release too.
But after all that, they are going to go exclusive. No way that is happening. Xbox is pushing major marketing at Persona.

I saw the Nate the Hate thing. He doesn’t even say that Sony locked it down or anything, he sounds like he’s anticipating that it would be PS5 unpaid exclusive unless MS came in with a money bag. The only thing he firmly says that it’s skipping is PS4. They also predict that Persona 6 is possibly being planned to be revealed at Tokyo Game Show which Sony abandoned long ago. To me if P6 was PS5 exclusive and was revealed in a Sega event at TGS then it would, again, suggest unpaid exclusivity which doesn’t make sense.
And IIRC he is the one who said FF Origin was PS5 exclusive I think?

I don’t trust Nate the Hate very much… It’s the same insider who said Chrono Crosso would be a complete remake for PS5 and PC. Instead it turned out to be a simple remaster for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC with no next-gen release.

I believe they had 3.7 billion remaining after slashing their amount remaining for acqhisitions. Part of this is also to further semiconductor investments.
