I don’t remember anything from FF6, but I’m somehow making all the right decisions, well except for the learning and using of techniques. Since I couldn’t suplex the train.
edit: Spoke to soon, I really don’t like Locke though.

I’m playing it now and it’s so good ! I love these 2D-3D JRPG.
There was definitely story parts from Kiwami in there.
(Source: I finished it a week ago)
As it should be. I’ve got the original, and it’s fantastic. By all accounts, the X is even better. My experience with it has made me very bullish on an official Xbox one having all the potential in the world to be a home run.
I want Halo: Spartan Warriors.
I also want Halo: the Adventures of Mini-ster Chief, from the team that gave you Astrobot.

We’re going to see Female Spartan in Atelier games.

Knowing the devs, expect…adjustment. Think as Reach body figure, only more…adjusted.

That bug fix on the ad sure took a toll.
Weirdly, I think I actually agree with PC Gamer here.
I loved the first MGS as a young teenager, replayed it more times than I can count - then played the entirety of MGS2 in a single day (playing ill from school).
But I started to struggle after that - his games are still intriguing to me, but it often felt to be he innovated the wrong bits rather than making the core gameplay significantly more satisfying, and started to disappear up his own arse in his ideas, stories and concepts.
The full Metal Gear storyline across all games is a mess, and the later games sometimes felt more like films than games (no surprise given he is desperate to make films and sucks up hard to Hollywood).
I don’t doubt he’s an artist and an innovator (and I’ll be interested to see what some of his new games are - Death Stranding bored me), but it feels like Konami at least tried to keep him on a leash which now he’s off the games are getting even weirder…
The photo mode in DS2 does look impressive but people use the photo mode for like 1% of their overall gameplay time so it feels odd to spend so much time on it - and some of the poses feel a little demeaning to the actors.
Instead it seems he loves photo modes so we all have to - just hope he puts as much care into the rest of the game…
On the flip side I am intrigued in seeing what he can achieve using the cloud with Xbox - it’ll either be pretentious and insane, or something truly mind blowing!

Prepare to be ashamed of your words and deeds!
Kojima is big pervert lol. I have no idea why his fanbase can’t accept that. In the movie industry… you know which directors are perverts (they admit it, and so has Kojima) and you can still appreciate their works (most of the time).
On another note, man Redfall is freaking good playing with friends… a multiplayer immersive sim/looter shooter game is kinda genius and they were probably on the right track with their ideas for this game.
Is PSN still down? Sounds like it’s still ongoing for some of other regions. I believe USA is good again.

Strange, very similar story here. I played the first MGS with my brother in law (I was too young and my sister is 19 years older). We absolutely loved the original.
The second was also very enjoyable but then I completely lost interest. I will need to give the new one a go.

As amazing as the first one was, for me 3 probably is the best. I legit shed some tears at moments too. Amazing game with some truly original and fantastic and well executed ideas that I won’t spoil but truly show Kojima is a genius when it comes to things.
It’s sad how they lost me with 4 and 5 as well, I just did not enjoy that repetitive mission structure of 5 at all. Thought the prologue was awesome though.
Overall story wise of the whole franchise it can be very messy, but nowhere near as bad as Kingdom Hearts, lmao.

About Kojima and Tarantino, it’s more like fetishism, which is mild compared to the darker and more perverted stuff behind how some movies and art pieces were made.
Still, it’s creepy when put into a game. Since MGS 4 babes and MGS V weird Quiet obsession, his work has become weirder and weirder. Kojima was more subtle in the past that’s for sure.
I love Kojima for the crazy attention to details, convoluted plots and in-depth gameplay mechanics, but I could do without his creepy antics. It feels like he has went full on weirdo since Death Stranding.
