possible. I was thinking Hellblade 2 and Avowed would have been the two big titles for 2022, but seems more and more like the former ain’t making 2022 either, oh well. In that case, Starfield, Avowed and if possible, Omen I think will be good. I hope for Xbox’s sake MS has made the Arkane Austin game exclusive otherwise the situation is gonna be hilarious, where an Arkane Lyon game is just coming from another platform after a year of exclusivity and Xbox will be publishing another Arkane game on Playstation again

No no, just pointing out that Phil believes consoles are only a small part of the gaming market. You indicated those who think cloud will be bigger than console are delusional, but that is clearly what Phil is looking for soon

It won’t be in the near future, when internet and connections are so weak in many regions, Phil has also always said that console is critical for Xbox, so I don’t understand why people are are so fast to ditch them in the rubbish.

Play Carrion

I could not agree more.

Carrion is a genuine GamePass Gem. It was so much fun. This is the sort of game I never would have tried out were it not on the service. I found it far more enjoyable than some of the AAA Exclusives being praised by the typical gaming media.

I played it first via xcloud and then I decided to try it on console and the auto hdr is a gem.

Easy man, games are still a hobby. We can have different opinions.

Ultimately if we don’t like the direction of a platform, jumping ship is very easy.

That was what I meant. Forums easy tend to latch in to a discourse that is pretty weird and unfriendly. I think it has to do with the level of social interaction, or rather lack of.

Just wanted to put some attention to the fact that we all discuss these things as fellow hobbyists and nothing else.

2023 will be Fable, Hellblade 2, Perfect Dark, Everwild, Forza Horizon “Next” (cuz FH5 this year is gonna be “Cross” lol), Gears Next. Oh my god if 2023 is really gonna be like this list and most if not all of em are great, then sheesh, this forum gotta shut down cuz there’ll be nothing else being talked about

doesn’t look like it, and the internet and the media is gonna have another meltdown over it for sure.

343 needs to do two things now imo -

E3 demo on Series X, NOT on a “PC simulating similar performance” and I say that as a PC player, 343 absolutely cannot afford a cyberpunk situation.

Then, make sure as much as possible to have RT ready at launch, which I am skeptical of, but I’m hopeful for.

I don’t know what to say, but if you think that cloud will make more money than actual consoles for the next 5-10 years, imo you are delusional, no offense obviously. Personally I don’t live in the future, but in the present.

Well in the present native gaming is still better than streaming yet so many think streaming is equal to native…

The two main points are 1. You don’t need an Xbox or PC right now if you are fine with streaming. 2. If you aren’t fine with streaming you will need a native access point which is xbox series x or s or PC.

It’s really simple consoles are still needed hence playing games native. Streaming side of it is irrelevant on where it plays as it is still streaming. And a little hint anyone posting for that steaming service is a Microsoft customer. The DLC and microtransactions would have to be through Microsoft also as I doubt buying dlc for a switch version would work with the gamepass version.
