XboxEra Community Hangout |OT2| Cracking down on shitposting

I understand why Starfield would be cross-gen but like you, im hoping that it’s current gen only. On the positive side, even if it’s cross-gen, eliminating the PS4/PS5 versions cuts down on the workload. I’m hoping it’s March 2022 to be honest. I will have plenty of games to play in the second half and don’t need to add to it with a 100+ hour RPG. Plus, im a firm believer in spreading out exclusive games and content as opposed to stacking them all into one season.

I’m expecting gameplay at E3 but not a blowout as I do see them saving that for the return of X021.

Oh, okay. So basically it’s nothing. lol. I can’t imagine Microsoft/Kojima not getting a deal done after Spencer had the Death Stranding statue on his shelf. Spencer isn’t stupid and wouldn’t do that just for the hell of it. Thanks for clarifying what it was. Appreciate it.

Meanwhile, ppl are not supposed to say they like Xbox. Sad.

Apparently, Destin is being attacked for saying he likes Xbox.

Shows why places like xboxera are important.

Twitter where anybody says something about xbox in a positive light and it’s offensive.

News at 11.

Sadly for these people, Xbox is just going to keep growing.

I don’t understand the “News at 11” reference. What does it mean?

Guessing - Breaking news footage being showed at 11pm in the good ol’ days ™?

PS: American urban colloquialisms are so unique.

pls dont get me wrong… but

maybe because they didnt have an NEW Xbox Studios title for November 2020? a lot of these updates (that are nice) were because of that.

Phil literally said that they bought Bethesda to provide exclusive games that “ship on platforms where Game Pass exists.” He didn’t say Xbox, PC and mobile. He said where Game Pass exists because that’s the future of the Xbox division. Microsoft is predominantly a service company and they’re aiming to be the first to make a gaming subscription service of this level their niche. They want to saturate the market as soon as they can, before competitors can take up much of the public’s mindshare on the concept,

Anyone who keeps thinking Phil or Satya give a rip about where people play Xbox games and Game Pass are living in another decade. They’ll put Game Pass and xCloud absolutely anywhere they can.

Urge resisted to spiral this into another 300 post exchange.

Absolutely man, and March is fine. Sure, if they were to surprise us all next month and say it IS coming this year I will jump through my ceiling of excitement, haha, but it’s not a super big deal if it’s March next year. So much good stuff in the backlog, so much good stuff coming in Game Pass, assuming Halo is great which I hope to God it is I’ll be real busy with that. FH5 maybe, and then all the great stuff like Psychonauts 2 which I’m going to enjoy the hell out of, The Ascent, The Gunk, CrossfireX (hopefully) and so on.

But again, please it not go past March. It’s so damn far away as it is.

Because this is normal/non surprising.

Agreed. Plus none of that includes the third party multi-platform games like Far Cry 6 or Dying Light 2 for example.

My gaming schedule right now is as follows -

  1. Mass Effect (first game)
  2. BioMutant
  3. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
  4. Necromunda: Hired Gun (50/50)
  5. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (backlog)
  6. The Ascent

By the time I go through all of this, it will probably be at least mid-August. lol

They really need to sort out these issues with LG man.

But weren’t we discussing a patch for The Last of Us, which came out last year?

Gawd - you were d:'oh-ing me. Love the explanation. :slightly_smiling_face:

Don’t stop there, not when you can probably do 600 post exchange.

I was talking about TLOU 2. i always praised FPS Boost, Smart Delivery, BC etc. but i was not discussing this. :slightly_smiling_face:

I feel you.

My reply was not directed towards you, though. I said “we” in a general sense, in which semantically I would be included aswell. It was a way of saying that the Xbox team deserves all the praise in the world.
