I am glad they did not do it for FH5 so that they can save it for Next Gen only FH6.

I see many posts about Xbox crossover fighting game, I think the core team behind KI 2013 is able to handle the mission. New IP 2D fighting game similar to KI 2013 with some different tweaks so the game has it own identity. Later, let the team works on the two project KI & Xbox heroes.
Another capable teams:
Ninja Theory with Bleeding Edge - like multiplayer game.
Omega Force with warriors-like game.
DotEmu with Streets of Rage - like 2D game.
There is character shadows in most places, but some places don’t or it’s super faint. I’m not sure why. Like, the thumbnail has the shadow of the character.

Looks like only the sun casts shadows, not the artificial lights in the interiors. Could be a setting that can be toggled, or perhaps just a problem with the engine.
I am not that bothered by it tbh. I’m playing the game for many things, and technical fidelity is not quite up there in that list. I do hope their engine can get better this gen, both in technical art related stuff but also performance.
FromSoft games always had these shadows issues.

Yeah. They do great stuff with natural lighting, but when it comes to live local source lighting, it can get pretty rough or barebones. Bloodborne still looks fucking phenomenal to this day. At the end of the day, art direction will always matter more than technical fidelity, although Fromsoft does need to get their shit together with the way these games perform, so an engine revamp is in order for this gen.

lol i mean, Gears collection makes so much more sense than a Fable collection especially in a world that now has MCC, and still Gears collection is losing to Fable collection. The latter doesn’t even have a live component to require a package of sorts where you want to seamlessly manage playing multiple entries of the franchise at the same time. And Gears franchise has double the amount of games too. Yet here we are. Of course, it’s a twitter poll at the end of the day, nothing that conclusive or reflective of overall actual perception.
