This shit looks fucking awesome!!! I know it probably won’t happen but im hoping that there’s an option that allows you to keep your “souls” when dying. That would make me very happy.
So much good stuff about the game on paper. Atmospheric, exploration, metroidvania-lite aspects, no cutscenes, environmental storytelling, 6-8 hour length. If it’s good and how I imagine it, I will be eating extremely good. It and Atomic Heart and I will be satisfied for this year, two games that feel made specifically to my liking – just need to hope for the best for them.

Nah man then the hardcore souls community will tell you it will ruin the game if they add those options. It is forbidden to ask for accessibility in souls games

Yeah it looks awesome, I’m definitely going to play it. However, if you played Blood Bourne I’m sure you noticed that at the 2 min mark in Lies of P when he is talking to the exiled girl in the window. It’s literally the same scene from Blood Bourne lol and this is just one of many similarities in the trailer

A bit off topic but i bought top gun maverick on my xbox and it doesnt allow me to play in UHD?? Says i dont have the device…i have 4ktv tv…not sure what is going on
Humble is slowly becoming one of the publishers like Annapurna and Devolver that I will be keeping my eye on most things they put out, and like those they are friends of Game Pass

Maybe the display settings on Xbox?
Might be something stupid with ether HDMI Handshaking where the HDCP got stuffed up? HDMI can be very picky, where stupid things like the order of devices being turned on matters. Sometimes you need to do the stupid dance where you turn everything off for a few minutes then do a specific order of turning things on.
Or if you meant you bought the BluRay UHD you may have to install the BluRay software, it might be a separate app install than the normal media player. A reason many consoles do it this way is so they [Sony / Microsoft] don’t have to pay for the BluRay royalty license until the consumer actually uses it. Some users may never use it at all, so it saves the corporations a few bucks times millions of people, which becomes something sizable.
Don’t see how that would ruin the game when the hardcore souls community could just play the game as normal. Just because they want to suffer doesn’t mean that I want to. lol
Steel Rising has assist options and these options have made me super hyped to play the game in two weeks. So much so that I completed the Beta twice and know exactly how im playing. Oh, man, im hyped!!! 
I played Bloodborne and remember talking to one or two characters behind doors or windows but never gave anyone any items or anything. Of course, I only played for maybe 10 hours or so as that was enough for me. lol
Steel Rising has this too. But all you do is hear the character behind a window. One was a short conversation and the other I gave the lady an item and she gave me 5 of something else back. lol
Looks great. I’m very happy that it’s on Game Pass because there’s why im buying a souls game unless it gives me assist options like Steel Rising. Anything less is a no buy from me.

I remember how people thought you wern’t a real sousbourne player if you used mimic tear. Like dude it’s a feature in the game itself. I have another friend who thinks you suck if you play with other people. play it how you want thats the beauty of it

I have been having a blast playing Midnight Fight Express. It really opens up in terms of combat fun as you unlock more skills, and the soundtrack is amazing. The whole vibe is really great too. Just another example of a very cool game on Xbox Game Pass that I may not have checked out otherwise, and the rest of the year is totally stacked on Game Pass for me with other games too
