Hm yeah, maybe. I come from a PC gaming background so I have no experience with that.

I always use the same save slot all the time. See no point in making multiple saves. I find it a bother.

Which color of crayon is your favourite snack?

Games with only auto-checkpointing and no failsafe reverting to prior checkpoints annoy me. Even if I never have any issues with it. The times when I do have an issue, the Chapter Select Restart is always an hour or more earlier. Such a disrespect of our time.

If a game doesn’t offer multiple, then I get it. But if you have multiple? Always do it, what if you get a bug that halts your game progress? In Fallout NV I had made many saves because of the bugs I would get. At one point I kept getting crashes. Luckily I had several older saves to choose from, otherwise I would have lost around 20 hours or more of playing.

Pentiment does not have a manual save system, it’s all auto save. I didn’t have any issues, but I will never be a fan of these choices. I think Fable was the same, no manual saves and I had to start all over because of a corrupted save.

That is what I had with Fallout NV, my most recent save kept crashing, several saves before were corrupted. Lost about 5 hours of progress back then, if not more.

If some bug prevents me from completing the game then I just drop the game and maybe will try to replay on a later date.

like others have said it hard and it’s a money sink when you got people that post stuff that advertisers shy away from like look what happened to youtube during their adpocalypse except twitter doesn’t have google backing them

Finally got the M13B that was stressful af

For some reason this is how I play JRPGs. I’m conditioned for some reason to just stick to one save slot. It only serves to disserve me but I do it anyway. I dunno, maybe I like the compactness of my progress in one save lol.

When I play WRPGs though I make a zillion save files though. Every save is to a new file.

Now I’m getting memories of when Yakuza 0 was brought to PC and Xbox and seeing people complain that the game didn’t save when they closed it lol (no autosave)

Perhaps you would be better off not playing Sony games and your problem would be solved.

As for me, to no one’s surprise, despite a few issues with the game, 35+ hours in, it’s easily my 2022 game of the year and #1 game of the generation thus far. Only Halo Infinite campaign comes close for me.

Outside of my camera/control issue that I mentioned in the currently playing topic, im loving the combat. It’s very satisfying especially once you start adding all the runic’s, mods and whatnot. Puzzles are simple thus far but I don’t mind as I don’t want to be stuck on a puzzle forever. The side content is really good, much better than 2018 and in a few instances, where I thought it was done, a surprise happens. To each their own though.

That’s the hope.

We’ll see.

Vampire survivors is awesome. Play it :+1:t3:

Yeah man, I can see this being a ton of fun for some players. Definitely not a “I don’t like it so it’s BAD” camp, but I find this combat to be so lackluster compared to the old God of War titles. But this feels bad even compared to the 2018 GOW, and even with runic attacks and build speccing, it still doesn’t feel interesting unless you’re in a boss fight. But that’s just my taste.

I understand. Some games are this way for me that others enjoy a lot. All I can is if you’re not enjoying the game, either just complete the story or just drop the game.

Do you have some examples? Also they don’t have advertisers (at least yet).

Edit: I also don’t get why some many people feel the need to defend corporations interests.

To be fair I think people are raising valid points.

I personally really enjoy most if not all the PS exclusives, especially Naughty Dog games.

Although the production value of GoW is amazing I never finished the 2018 one, I simply got fed up with it. Again it looked amazing but in comparison to other PS games I just didn’t enjoy it overall.

I will likely play GoW:R eventually but I’ll wait until it’s on a major sale.

I would love for Xbox to publish more cinematic action adventure games, but perhaps more Naughty Dog/Crystal Dynamics in style rather than SSM .

Re: the future of Twitter

It’s been a little over 18 years since I left my IT career behind and changed tracks to film and television, but I can confidently say that this person knows what they’re talking about. I’m sure these are all viable scenarios:

Its $500 for optical PS5 and $550 for PSVR2 with H:CoM experience. Even then, you have various amounts of sales taxes to add to the mix. Its 8% for Cleveland, Ohio. Its $400 for digital edition PS5. However there are no base consoles available, all of them are forced bundles which raises the cost.

Even in the best case scenarios, thats $1026 to $1134 in Cleveland. Likely scenario is adding another $55 to $300 for forced bundles.
