I liked Nobody Wants to Die. It’s more story than game, but it’s well done.
+1 - I just ‘finished’ Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader.
Disclaimers:
i believe when it came out it was buggy as fuck
I have no special interest in Warhammer
the game systems are so endless and granular I’m not entirely sure I ever really understood what I was doing
But i fucking loved it. Superb game. Sprawling, horrible, endless, varied, rich, complex, addictive and fun. An incredible chaos-beast of a game. So many layers, so many keywords and concepts, so many quests, so many areas, environments and loot, so many special arenas just for one quest or bizarre mystery, so many hidden paths and secrets and arcane achievements (love that shit). Brilliant stuff, even as I am still lost. Towards the end the long run of fights got tough and a bit repetitive, but otherwise, wow.
Time to get the DLC and do another run. I so rarely do that.
Omg there are TWO MORE EXPANSIONS PLANNED? On top of the two already out and the next game and the Expanse game? Owlcat are not playing around…!
Played on Game Pass but I’ll end up buying any DLC - finished the main campaign but now will do the remaining achievements on free play in between other games as it’s a perfect chill out.
Loved it, it takes what made the original great and adds to it while removing a few of the less fun bits - I particularly love the scissor lift that means you can adjust the height to what you need.
The story isn’t that important but it’s sweet and wholesome and a bit silly, bringing a smile to your face as you play.
Can’t recommend it enough, particularly to autistic or ADHD people like myself as it’s really soothing and comforting
Cool, little 2D puzzle game, you walk around in some slightly eerie locations, bit fairy tale like. Puzzles with exception of a few are very doable and logical I guess. Perfect for the low price I paid. I’m finishing off some smaller fry now before starting with the big fish such as KCD2. Although I am planning on starting with Indiana Jones too, but that’s not exactly backlog, not really.
Another podcast weekend, another game! This one is a platformer, starts out basic and keeps adding new things to learn and figure out. The levels have a timer so it’s a bit of trial and error at first when figuring out what you need to do in a specific level and then execute that within the time limit to progress. Got fairly difficult towards the end in some parts, but my my platforming skills are not top tier…
Thanks, that’s a decent price. But I have moved on from the idea so to speak, the price gouging made me look at it soberly and realize I really don’t want 1000 cars etc. anyway.
Yep that’s the one I’m buying on payday - bit closer to the usual price.
For me it’s not about the extra cars, but the two DLC - FH’s DLCs have always been awesome, loved the snow ones, treasure island one, rally and especially Lego and Hot Wheels lol
Same. I think they should avoid Lego and Hot Wheels this time around though. They feel a bit played out, especially now that both brands have released their own games in recent times.
I should do that… But I’ll probably cave and buy it ahead anyway. It helps that I bought a bunch of gift cards at about 19% off, everything is on an extra sale that way.
Yeah, I’m not judging anyone. I just came to the realization that for me, this is too much. All I’m interested in is the expansions, and those I can buy and play whenever. Almost $80 is just… nah.
