Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 - First Details on the Next Epic Call of Duty

I find it odd that the first COD only on next gen consoles is also the first to support Nintendo again in a while. I was under the assumption that the Switch 2 was in the same power range as the Xbox One and PS4.

I believe their kit is more inline with current gen, despite not being as powerful. It is essentially another Series S.

Few things:

  1. I missed this sensation. BO is more Fast series as in over the top action, though 7 was like Fast X.
  2. This won’t be “There’s one more” title for next week, so people can be at ease and anticipate.
  3. It will have its presence at it, which will draw fans to watch it. The more, the merrier.

Series S would be a major leap in what I see the Switch 2 as capable as. That’d be a really powerful handheld and capable of playing anything current gen pretty well without bells and whistles.

#MW4 reveal today! The @CallofDuty teams worked hard to create something impossible to ignore. This is a new chapter for Modern Warfare. pic.twitter.com/Ff8SLfe3fP

Wonder what the response from Xbox gamers online will be now that it’s not on GPU. From what I could tell the vocal minority had all fallen off of it. I think most of us here as well aren’t huge COD enjoyers. Those groups just briefly joined back in through Game Pass. But largely it seems like COD is like Fortnite (or I suppose vice versa) in that those gamers just show up and COD’s own marketing is very effective.

This game looks awesome.

Also I just realized that Modern Warfare 2019 and MWII have been separated from the HQ launcher and are their own separate apps now?! I can play them again! I @#$& hate the launcher!

It looks interesting enough that if they’ve improved the piss poor accessibility of CoD, I’ll probably try it out when it eventually hits Game Pass.

No interest in buying it as a new release, I die too easily and they too often have crappy unskippable QTEs

It’s been a while. MWII and 3 also have new separated achievement lists.

I’m glad there’s a more real “boots on the ground” aspect to this and not entirely just bullshit spec-ops wank like most of the other CoD shit.

This is my stance as well. Will just have to see how it performs the views don’t seem hot to me. They probably will need an Xbox presents for this.

I kinda don’t want it in Xbox showcases, I’m annoyed they removed it from Gamepass, just put it on the PlayStation showcase.
