From the looks of it i think its safe to say that many of Konami’s future games might end up being play anywhere going forward and honestly i think this is a wise move for them as it was for both square enix and sega. Now if only the sonic games were play ahnywhere and i think things will look even better for sega on xbox.

It seems he knows it’s content complete, so I guess thats interesting. As for thinking it won’t get delayed again, that doesn’t mean much.

If it’s been content complete for a “while” now that’s a LOT of time for polish (over a year). Hopefully it’s flawless on release.

This will tide me over

SHf is already PA IIRC and SH2R seems to be PA as well which is great news! Hopefully more devs/publishers will support the PA program in the future.

BTW @Dankey_Kang there are 4 very good shmups on deep sale right now if you are interested my friend! Panorama Cotton, Cotton 100%, Sophstar and Andro Dunos II!

I didn’t notice until now, but ESO added a replay dialogue button in case we had to walk away for whatever reason.

That’s cool, I’m glad Obsidian games are pretty forgiving with that too, and have conversation history which too may games don’t.

Next up I’d love it if games recorded or gave you a way to repeat barks - too often I don’t hear them well and they clash with an actual NPC conversation or another civilian barking and I can’t see / read the subtitles in time so have to wait for them to repeat that specific bark on their loop.

I know I’m weird, but I love to hear / read all the dialogue I can in a game, really helps flesh the world out

I pretty much treat NPC talking to each other as I would in real life, keep walking and forget anything I heard in a minute unless something weird just comes up (takes me longer to forget with some instances of talking to them because they asked me to buy them - thanks bg3 you skeever).

That to me feels more realistic, because I’m not trying to get imvolved with everyone unless stuff happens.

I do love hearing rumors about me as I walk about and I wish more games did that. That or like NPCs noticing what I’m wearing/have with me. Makes the world feel a little more alive.

I can take or leave the rumors because I treat them like any other time I walk through an area in a game.

Hey guys, I just read on Twitter that you can buy a PS Portal to stream your owned games without even needing to buy a PS5. Tons of people talking about it, I think Sony is the first to ever attempt something of the sort, not like other platforms like GeForce now and xcloud have been letting you do that on your device of choice for a while now!

Not like Sony themselves did something very similar back in 2014 and have been sitting on the technology (to expand to owned games) for ages… I want an alien species to came to Earth and just bask at how dumb we’ve gotten. It’s like people lack object permanence.

The worst part to me is people champion the idea of buying a 200$ device that is basically a paperweight unless you have a PS5 or are paying for a premium subscription to stream. At least my cellphone, tablet and fire sticks have other uses besides just streaming games from a single ecosystem. I don’t understand why some people think having a device locked down is a good idea. Mon seeing people online advertise this thing like it’s the best thing since sliced bread!

Preaching to the choir. People get so mad at the “this is an Xbox” and “no console required” ads as if a locked down closed platform is better for them. The only argument I somewhat get is that some people just seem really afraid of losing their libraries… but even then there’s a greater chance of that happening a locked down ecosystem. Xbox Cloud Gaming being on everything future proofs Xbox games more and increases the chances that an Xbox version will be supported in the long term. Xbox Play Anywhere does this to an insane degree. It’s also weird to me because complete library wipes isn’t new in the console space. Backwards compatibility is more rare than it is not. Nintendo did it every other console. Sony and Xbox very recently did it with the PS4/ONE and only Xbox found an actual solution that respected your saves and owned library to any degree.

It seems detrimental to oneself. Well it is detrimental to oneself. People are so locked into the console war mindset that they’re more focused on proving why Playstation is better than recognizing that more consumer value and more open ecosystems benefit us as gamers more regardless of where we play.

Pc, Cloud, mobile and Xbox players are pretty much set for the next decades.

Playstation and Nintendo…Not so much, you can only to so much in regards to nostalgia until it blows up and its replace by the next thing. These two either adapt now or they are beyond screwed long term and we will see that in the next 2 years once cloud evolves more.

I’m not really sure they can adapt. PC, Cloud, Mobile is just not their lane, and they are not even running or aggressive like Microsoft.

Well they have do, otherwise they will be swallowed whole by more ambitous folk like epic, apple or google that could do more damage long term for them than even microsoft could.

I mean epic is already doing so with fortnight being the most played game on the switch 2, if that is not a sign of things to come for nintendo i do not know what else it could be.

That’s not even going into playstation, who refuses or does not even know how to make a genuine pc launcher like xbox have. Most of their problems would have been solved if they suck up their greed and opened up their market within pc, not just games on steam or xbox or even nintendo. But again, this is sony we are talking about and if people think microsoft is greed incarnate than they really don’t know much about sony nor the fact it still has debts that needs to be paid.
