Here in my city they have given the code red. Which basically means warnings for the roads being extremely slippery because of the cold. Some people are seriously ice skating through the streets here.

Personally I’m loving it. We haven’t had a good winter in a long ass time but we did have summers that were too hot and humid. We’ve had some good snow too, really missed that for several years now.

I live in a town near Groningen. Still had to come in for work today even if nearly all the appointments were cancelled.

Long time without posting, coming back to gaming after a big hiatus. Just to post my experience with Switch 2. My niece got one, and I got curious to test it (tested it for couple of hours, maybe 2 or 3). I think it came with two games, Mario Kart and some Donkey Kong. It definitely didn’t get me, nothing special with that system, it also didn’t feel that confortable to me. And about both games I tested, I thought both boring and generic. My first impression was meh.

It’s living off the success of the switch 1 . Donkey kong gets repetitive quickly and I’m unsure how it was even nominated for goty. Mario kart was also a major downgrade from 8. Honestly switch 2 has been awful for me and o think the emergence of pc handhelds made switch 2 feel less impressive. Hopefully 2026 is better but oft feels like it will be more of the same .

Supposedly, Take Two announced that Xbox Series has at least 45 million sold.

Did they also give a number for PS5? As we generally get shipped numbers, because if they gave the PS5 shipped numbers than it’s likely that there 45 million shipped series consoles.

I believe it was 90 million.

Damn Spider Man looks/runs really good on my Ally X Base settings at that! So far I haven’t had to really mess around with any settings so far with this thing which is fine with me.
