My God they’ve been putting some beautiful FH6 videos on Youtube, that snow looks beautiful, I hope Fable also has snow like that, it would make sense for Fable to have snow.

We had it too good, and have it too good, with so much. The transition for this gen was buttery smooth with smart delivery, backwards compatibility (not just for Xbox One but continuing the previous Gen back compact), and cloud saves. People also complained about the controller not being different enough but it was great that the new and old controller was compatible with both gens (IIRC).

Liking what I’ve played so far in Solasta. The gameplay is interesting but simple.
After finishing this, I plan to play Divinity Original Sin and then maybe Pathfinder Kingmaker.

Well, Greg Miller of Kind of Funny is pushing a narrative that Phil was forced to retire, I understand he has industry connections but I have never heard about Kind of Funny ever getting any inside information before.
It’s going to be a couple of Xbox is dead year again, well it will continue anyways.
Is it ever not an “Xbox is dead year” 
. It feels like that narrative has joined death and taxes in being constant truths of the universe. Also the fact that every year in summer people say “Xbox has a pulse again” (though that’s kinda insulting to the marketing teams since 2023 when Xbox has done a really good job of having shows throughout the year).
As for Phil being forced to retire, I mean it’s kinda bold to push a new rumor when last year the rumor was that Phil would be retiring soon anyway. The memos also say this had been in the works since last year.

I remember, but so many people online have selective memory on everything(I’m some what guilty of this too), Greg Miller having connections with people in gaming, means that people will take whatever rumor he heard as being true.
Always did, but the media spent the last decade convincing stupid people that less features and less bang for your buck was somehow better.

Finished RE4 today and I know I had my complaints but great game overall, in fact I liked it so much that I bought the Separate Ways DLC to play Ada’s side of the story and even bought the Gold Edition of Village to play it in 3rd person since I’ve come to just prefer RE in 3rd person, still questioning if I should get RE7, I would get it right away if it had a 3rd person mode, I should probably get it because it’s pretty cheap right now but the 1st person perspective is what has stopped me so far, I didn’t really enjoy the demo.
I remember when the narrative was that Xbox should’ve done paid upgrades and remasters and made the experience “more different” so it “feels” like next gen. Yup. Let’s spend more for the privelege and make the transition clunkier.

Things are just not going well so far this year for the games industry, sucks to hear as always and hope they land on their feet.
Expensive upgrade that makes it look worse… Did the game get a PS5 Pro port?

I think it’s indeed possible that it’s true that Phil Spencer was pushed out, and I do believe that to be the case, but I think Greg should’ve reiterated what info he was told.

It doesn’t seem he went into anything specific, just that he was handed something and Phil was forced to retire.
The main issue with this though is why just handed to Greg Miller? There are rorters who would do a better job at putting the info out there and with better reporting.

Switch 2 carried that in terms going higher than previous year, but still lagging due to being beaten by PS5, who also dropped from last year. That will tell you something. Also, subscription does help. Who knew.

Yeah, we have been seeing subs spending going up as the market price people out. What was weird was that the VGC reporting tried to pin the spending on Game Pass price increase. Which I think it alone wouldn’t be enough, unless they got a lsrge amount of new customers.
