I think this State of Play is pretty good so far. Lots of games that I’m interested in. I did tune in late and miss 4Loop though which apparently was pretty dire.
I just want to know if anything besides Kena is exclusives in there, along with 4Loop of course. Is the DOA6 port to current gen exlusive?
Suck that DS2 is only coming to PC, somewhat less hope of it coming to Xbox now that Sony is also publishing on PC.
I would expect nearly everything here will come to Xbox.
I just hate that MS has started putting all consoles including their own shows, yet Nintendo and Sony will still only mention their systems as to make people think there is some sort of exclusivity.
Like do we really need 3 versions of a trailer to figure out on what system it’s coming?
Marathon gameplay, they literally said "“Playstation 5 and other platforms”, and at the end it specifically said PS5 and PC, they don’t even mention the Xbox version even though it’s coming to Xbox.
Sony is really a very shitty company for the gamers. Do they not want their games to sell on Xbox?
Was hoping Kena 2 would be Xbox day one now since the first one did release eventually, but I guess not.
Would’ve been nice with Xbox now basically shipping all their new games day one on PS that Sony as a nice gesture or something ship a game too, aside from Marathon.
Remakes are cool and all but is SSM seriously starting development on remakes of THREE God of War games?
In my opinion a huge waste of resources. How about making some gee I don’t know, new shit that isn’t God of War?
I thought they were doing a sci-fi game.
Goes without saying but MGS4 is coming to Xbox platform for the first time! Nothing is exclusive forever!
It was a nice State of Play. I give it a 9.5/10. My only issue is that it was carried by 3rd parties again. Is PlayStation 1st party only going to consist of PC releases, live service games and remakes? Sony shouldn’t have spent that 3.6 billion on Bungie and bought smaller publishers instead.
First party side is mainly updates and new smaller titles, one in which is more of funding. The rest is third party. Only Konami brings out new titles and showcase them. Felt like Konami was going to have its own show but decided to ask Sony to give them a room.
Thank you! Why don’t they ever show off MLB the Show at their State of Play? San Diego studios is PlayStations best studio simply because they release yearly games on PlayStation, Xbox and Switch but they are relegated to just showing the game on Twitch. Xbox shows the Legendary Sea of Thieves, Fallout 76 and the Elder Scrolls Online every year at the June showcase!
They are making that and the GoW remakes at the same time?
Well it was a rumor a long time ago, but maybe it’s scrapped or never happened. Basically, as of now, the studio is GoW studio.
It’s so petty.
It’s like do you want $70 from me for this game? Oh your advertisement says I need a ps5 so you want me to pay $600 for this game? Nevermind then.
I think it’s worse by PS Plus exclusive cosmetics while Xbox oblige for everyone to get same one. So yeah…
