I don’t know how much the rest of you know about Japanese geography, but John’s an expert. 
Should be very interesting coverage, I’m sure John will love the game overall and have a lot of insight, but I’m also expecting a lot of ultra-nitpicking (“Tokyo Tower is depicted in the game as 3 blocks away from Akihabara but it’s ackshually 6 blocks away”).
Also some quick analysis of FF7 Remake on Xbox. Series X version is exactly the same as PS5. Series S is somewhere between PS4 and PS5, but consistently looks better than Switch 2 which for some reason Oliver sounds genuinely surprised over.

Don’t think there was any real need to bring one’s colour into it, never mind their weight.
As a non-fat white guy who studied Japanese for his degree (the language and the culture; just one of the languages I studied), I couldn’t agree more! There’s nothing more cringe than otaku gaijin, pretty sure John’s picture is in the dictionary for gaijin…

I am a fat white guy. So I reserve my right to shit on all fat white guys for anything I deem shitable.
And to be clear, there is nothing wrong with studying and respecting other cultures, it is admirable and encouraged.
Pretending that you are part of that culture because you went there is something else entirely. Add that on top of being a generally unbearable…its a pretty gross cocktail.

Mind you, this will have a better chance to optimize Rebirth than Switch 2.
The more I’ve worked as a software engineer… the more I’ve reaffirmed my assessment that these clowns have absolutely no clue what they’re talking about.
They’re also the same people that complain about Xbox content not being popular… which is like Fox News complaining that leftists don’t like the drivel they’re selling. Also the same group that laments console wars and plays victim at every chance… whilst literally fomenting console wars and having document history of being biased af in socials, etc.
