It’s certainly a Microsoft-ass choice for CEO. Safe to say it does not bode well seeing AI AI AI

What a week right?

Surely there weren’t better options than a young girl that comes from being CoreAI directive and who has no history with videogames AFAIK, anyways we’ll see.

But like, bet it’s not that simple, but i would check who is leading that studio called Playground Studios, releasing 2 games this year that could perfectly sell 10M each (higher on the FH side) and be loved by players, and just put him as the new boss helping the rest of studios.

Really don’t think it was a crazy thing to do.

WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!

aRE YOU KIDDING MEEEEEEEE?!!!1!

Is Xbox gonna get screwed over by an AI, yesman?! Please, for the love of God, no!

Am genuiely concerned above all else on what this means for my gaming library and the future of hardware.

When I basically decided to go fully digital I realized there’s always a ever so small possibility that MS pulls the plug and everything is gone. But I was never really worried about it and I don’t want to do that now either.

Deep breathing

Let’s hope this is not the beginning of a downhill trajectory.

I think many people will learn to miss Phil. As I’ve always believed, he as was the best possible bridge between the gamers demands & Microsoft leadership, he understood how to keep Xbox as well fed as the Microsoft culture and structure allows. It will be obvious with time that most of the things he was blamed for are Microsoft bullshit.

Thanks for all these years Phil!

I’m surprised that Sarah Bond is resigning. Thats interesting. I hope its not a bad sign.

Has the new CEO a background in gaming? She was at Facebook, thats bad enough. And should I now be more concerned for MS gaming division or the AI division?

Sarah Bond was the clear next in line and learning the industry under Phil and his team. Her leaving is a sign that MS don’t want to continue do things like Phil & Co’s time.

I’ve never been concerned for my gaming library, it’s actually the least of my concerns. Even the worst case scenario, they are still required to keep download servers alive, and it doesn’t cost much.
