'Project Helix' is the Next-Gen Xbox Hardware, will Play your Xbox and PC Games

Very cool. I’m ready for a performance upgrade over my Series X… it’s still a great machine but 6 years is long in the tooth. Hoping for a really good software/OS experience, excellent integration with alternate storefronts. It’s gotta be easy to use, but also without ruining the experience of using it as an Xbox.

Drop the preorder link already  Next gen consoles is always an exciting time in gaming, looks like we’re about to get started.

Probably why Sony decided bts to pull back, even if it is a sacrifice. Might be a big one, but time will tell.

It’s out there in the open now that this thing will essentially be a PC but also play your Xbox games. Smart because it was an open secret and not like they have to protect Xbox sales.

Very cool indeed. Do companies normally acknowledge the development code word like this? If not, I’m thinking this could some real branding.

I like how this plays into the whole RDNA stuff even if it’s different.

Can’t see it.

It’s a small video with logo forming. But the fact the official Xbox made that post means the race to next gen console has begun!

Talking about it at GDC, looking forward to that. Maybe possibly even a full reveal at the Game Awards this year? I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but if that were to happen I think they probably are still intending to launch next year.

Remember, Project Scarlett, which ended up being Series X, was announced a year before release. On that very year, VGA revealed the next console. Could history repeat itself? Time will tell.

Really hope so! But I’ll keep it in mind that things can change. Especially with the RAMpocalypse, so to speak. Hopefully they can get this out without delays.

Cause I’ll be there on day one.

At VGA? Maybe, but after Kheigleys response to it, I can see them do it during the summer show case.
