Bit more too it than that but yeah ![]()
Seems lemons are the meta if you have the right charms. It’s a bit of quick fun when you just want a break from some heavy gaming.

Finished Pikmin 3 yesterday. I haven’t played a Pikmin game since Pikmin 1 on gamecube over 20 years ago. I enjoyed P3, it was short but sweet. There are bonus missions I might take a look at sometime.
I went back to Super Mario 3D World and got my ass kicked by the bonus worlds.
I’m roughly halfway through Metroid Dread, I just got the grapple beam. Playing on Rookie because I heard the final boss is very hard and you can’t change difficulty mid game.
Also having a look at the Octopath Traveler 0 demo. It looks very nice, would consider the full game. Chapter 5 on Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Keeper - found something ive finally stuck to, seeing through. One of the prettiest games ive seen in a while, and some vividly unique environment creations make the world seem like a location that really exists.
Whilst enjoying this, and will come away with nothing but praise, it must just be me and how i perceive games nowadays as it is ultimately just a ‘push the narrative’ role as u cruise through the game. Light puzzles, and a couple of awesome change ups occur later on.
Does anyone here highly recommend the Dark pictures anthology ? I know they are story driven and not to hands on, but look extremely engrossing.
Edit: completed Keeper.
A boy and his Blob, anyone… ? Was a fave as a kid, takes me back in time.
Feeling in a bit of a Navidad mood, so playing a holiday themed game, mostly because it takes places during the Holidays: Yakuza Kiwami!
I had a few games for Christmas the one that surprised the most is Minds Eye I’m enjoying it immensely the game also features some wonderful graphics with heavy use of raytracing on the Series X
DRGS - still chipping away at this thing. When I sit down to the tv and try to decide what to play, it is just so easy to do a run real quick and check off another achievement. Then when the run is over, it is real easy to just do another one. Love it.
Power wash sim 2 - finally gave this a whirl. I don’t know what to say besides it is satisfying to powerwash things. Curious to see where the game goes to keep things interesting.
Ball x Pit - I played one run and felt pretty overwhelming. Will put this down until I drop something else so I can spend more time learning all of the systems.
To do list - I downloaded the latest cod. Haven’t played yet, but I’m at least past the download hurdle. Hopefully I get it going by the end of holidays. Typing this reminds me I still need to play last year’s campaign.
Still playing Anthem to get that completion before the game is shut down. Very close to finish now.
I finished Silent Hill 2 Remake two days ago and I still can’t believe how Bloober went from The Medium and Layers of Fear (don’t get me wrong they are still pretty good games) to Cronos: TND and SH2R. I don’t know what the hell happened to those guys but they released two of the finest games in the survival horror genre in one freakin’ year.
The original SH2 was an unforgettable experience for me and many others back in 6th gen and since then it is considered an all-time classic game in the genre and yet Bloober managed to make a horror masterpiece of REmake 1 level of quality out of this game which was extremely difficult to even get the basics right (due to the very unique essence and ethos of the series) let alone surpassing the original experience…this bleak and dark journey of James Sunderland through hell is worth experiencing for everyone who is interested in horror media and videogames as a medium I’d say. SH2R is something that you can only experience as a videogame - the symbolism of everything around you, the out of this world sound design/OST, the top-notch art direction and the simple act of actually be in those hostile, nightmare-like locations has to be experienced to be appreciated. Capcom should take notes because a new player has entered the space and not only they are not kidding around they surpassed them in various aspects and I am saying this as a huge Capcom/RE fanboy. Looking at the bright side of things more competition within the genre can only be a good thing and in the end (hopefully) result in more high quality games.
I will make a short break the next few days with Indy’s The Order of Giants and then I will start a new melee-only Hard playthrough on SH2R…really curious to see the new endings.
About a week ago I beat Metroid Dread and Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I liked Metroid a lot, it was very fun. I would rank the Xenoblade series 1>X>2>3. I did like 3 but I thought it was the weakest. Still good though. Might play some indies now, Absolum and CrossCode
Played a bit of FO76, Destiny 2, and Keeper.
I am impressed by how much was added to F076 in just a year or so since I took a break from the game. I’m eager to play through both map expansions.
Destiny 2 is a lot of fun on both Warlock and Hunter with the praxic blade. I was working on the Kepler triumph this past week and completed all the Mythic and Fabled Kepler missions and activities. The timer on a couple of the Mythic secret bosses was brutal! Now I need to finish finding all the chests and urns. And I have one Graviton Spike piece to get before completing that weapon.
I’m enjoying Keeper in small segments. Without spoiling anything, I’m in a lot of water now. I imagine I’m more than half done with it? Very interesting world. It makes me want a platform adventure from DF.
Witchfire. Early Access on Steam, but seriously fun.
I think it’s planned to come to console. Currently tempted to get it when it does, it’s so good. Fingers crossed the final release nails it, sometime next year.
I’m celebrating Slop-mas by playing some Game Pass shite. Finished Peppa Pig: World Adventures and am now deep into The Grinch: Christmas Adventures…
Thanks to you I was reminded I never played either one, YET. That should change soon. ![]()

Peppa Pig World Adventures is pretty trash but the Queen is lit.
Divinity Original Sin: Enhanced Edition
Terminull Brigade
FF8
And a lil bit of Persona 5 Royal
Just started Kiwami 2 and man does money really come easy in this game, because as soon as you get to Sotenbori, you can get 2 blackjack amulets to get enough chips to make like 7 million yen( likely more if you get the bust amulets first, to get to the point where every bet is 10k chips and use the blackjack amulets to win every game).
I also finished Silent Hill 2 Remake recently and I can’t stop thinking about it. I will try to finish the 360 Collection, so I can play Silent Hill 3 and I’ll probably buy Silent Hill f this year. But wow, this game blew my mind, even more than I thought possible! I never got the hype because I thought it was a bit overblown, but the story… It’s actually psychoanalytically accurate. I listened to some deep analysis and everything has a purpose and a signification, and it’s not just japanese bullshit explanation. Everything has meaning, even the nurses twitching it’s supposed to represent strangulation. At first, I thought the bosses were weird, but when you look deeper… It’s kind of obvious nothing is random, but from the outside, I thought it was just grim, dark and disturbing for the shock factor, just like any other survival horror and I was SO wrong. And I even watched and liked the 2006 movie, but the game goes way way deeper.
And I also played the Order of Giants DLC for Indiana Jones a few days ago and it was fantastic. Way beyond my expectations. It’s the best content the game has to offer and is really well integrated to the game structure, which I appreciate.
Indiana Jones is a masterpiece. I appreciate it even more on my second playthrough, as I know where to go and what to do. What a game!
Played a lot of Mario Kart World couch co-op through all the grand prix races and then a bit of Keeper.
