Time to Microsoft to allow Adults Only game and pretend its nothing because its none of their responsibility LOL.

All people that I know who bought Xbox did for Gamepass because of the cost benefit than the exclusives, most never played Halo or Forza and these games weren’t even the main factor, the whole catalogue was. People will rationate “why should I have to spend 2k on videogames when I can do a fraction with a service and throw in some extra bucks on sales for the stuff it doesn’t have?”.

I was pretty satisfied with ‘the thing’ until today. Now I think it’s the perfect time for some new studios! Would like for Xbox to secure IOI, Remedy and JP Games. Remedy and IOI are established, but growing and tend to focus on third person games, which as we are reminded of weekly on this forum is an area MS could bolster.

JP Games is a new JRPG focussed studio founded by Hajime Tabata. They aren’t an established studio yet, but JRPGS are in a terrible position on the Xbox and having a studio focused on them would be a massive improvement. There is also a lot of potential for “organic” growth in such an acquisition. If MS manages to grow them into a two team AAA JRPG studio that makes two-three JRPG exclusives per generation we’re set for life really.

I’m one of those people on here who always begs for more 3rd person games but I’ll admit I really think it’s just what they’ve been able to show. It seems most of the stuff they have was shown in a CGI reveal so it doesn’t feel like they have many coming.

I think a more relevant concern for me is they’ve lacked mascot characters. IOI, Asobo, CD could all help with that. I know they have a few but (let me get this out of the way) I think they’re most recognizable in TP.

Really excited to see how Compulsion handles “Midnight”.

They should look at Mundfish lmao, Atomic Heart looks WILD. Definitely gonna be a bit of Eurojank, but with more budget this team could do cazy things. With the geopolitical issues around russia right now an acquisition might not be best, but a publishing game would be cool.

Oooohhhhh this would be very interesting. Lotr on the OG Xbox was amazing. They could also revive the middle earth RTS game. Would love it.

I have so many questions about that game with each new trailer. I don’t know what the hell is going on ? There’s like powers and robots, strange creatures, a flying car… a flying city ?
