A series that people buy the switch consoles for and even the most mediocre entries sell 18-20 million??? Xbox not gonna see a lick of any Nintendo IP.

I mean Series X will be more powerful than Switch Pro. Thatās a fact. So if Nier 3: Yoko Taro does more weird shit is gonna be a huge hit, and Square Enix knows that Japan would eat it up on a hand held console, they could justify an Xbox version without having to be paid to do so because they know that xCloud on Switch Pro would get they good money so Nintendo would probably get a cut of the royalites and such.
It makes sense in my head in a way I canāt put to paper.
Iām having a little faith.

You can put all of that on every device while simultaneously not harming your service by putting it on Nintendo or Playstation getting nothing in return.
You people realize that There are more ways to access gamepass beyond the Switch and Playstation.

Cool. We both have different views on this. My reasoning is the hololens demo, and theyāre neighbors in WA. And yes I know all about Nintendoās involvement in the ownership of the PokĆ©mon company.
But I do still think thereās a decent chance actually.
If itās anything other than xCloud Iāll be floored. Switch is the perfect platform for Microsoft to get on considering thereās almost 10 million of them out there.
Plus if Switch Pro xCloud is a huge hit and generates a bunch of money, eventually Sony will yield and bend the knee, basically making Xbox the defacto winner.
I mean, they could still do this the way Remedy or IOI did and sell full cloud versions of the games? Xcloud isnāt exactly necessary for this.

I 100% think xCloud + Game Pass on Switch will have almost zero impact on Xbox as a whole console sales and all that. I understand what youāre saying and if it was PS5 yeah Iād agree it will probably hurt them a bit more but not at all for the Switch. If you can point me to some evidence that there are people who are on the edge of buying a Xbox or a Switch and this move will make them buy a Switch I would be keen to see it.
All this talk is a bit weird to me seeing as you donāt currently need a Xbox to play itās games.

The only thing that would be a bummer is, Xbox gets the Switch version, so nowhere near what XSX can do. Kinda like Dragon Quest. But itās better than nothing. On the other hand, Japanse games coming to Xbox have been improving, but with Sony thereās no telling what the future will look like. Athia and FF16 are good examples.
Maybe Nintendo can put Mario in DOOM or Halo Infinite
