Wonder if there could be a surprise too. A surprise new game announcement. I’m not expecting it though.

That Playground announcement was a pre-show :exploding_head:

Maybe gamepass news.

Well, they mentioned the games launching in the months. So I guess Game Pass drops are the possibility.

Though the way they positioned the announcement it also could mean that aside gameplay we won’t get anything else.

Nicely explained, good job MS there, bit of a long wait until the show tho, if i remember correctly Sony and Nintendo announce their shows almost on the same week, but we waited so long, who cares about 2 more weeks :joy:

Very curious about FM8, i was quite disappointed by their showing on E3, the circuit chosen wasn’t good and gameplay wise we had just some seconds, found FM7 to be more impressive back in it’s days, hoping to see something like this, but with a 2023 game, next gen only and with a way longer development cycle:

Some impressive and realistic graphics, circuits like SPA would do the job for example, and some rain stuff too, whatever it is, it should be there with the best games of 2023 graphically speaking.

Not so curious about Redfall, it was already sold for me, i need some great coop experiences and i’m sure that game will deliver, but nice to be able to see more of course.

I don’t expect announcements for other games there, maybe the one Jeff said, the big surprise for me would be a “March” date for one of these 2 games i mentioned, i doubt it pretty much but who knows!

Taking time off work for this

I hope to see FH5 Expansion 2 at least, it’s very due by now. On one hand the Xbox Wire post didn’t say to expect surprises like this, on the other hand it’s not like they’d give away their surprises…

If GP drops count as surprises, if they have something surprising anyway, then I’d count that too.

if Starfield is really indeed delayed for 2nd half then there is no point for a stand alone showcase before E3. it’s really simple as that.

Finally! :grinning: Excited to see more gameplay of all games, but especially Redfall.

Now counting the days you guys!

Game Pass did say don’t miss it at all, so I assume we will get plenty of goodies. As for what to expect, they can still announce a new expansion or update like ESO already hyping up theirs. Playground can do the same for the next one. Maybe the recently announced bundle is a way to get people excited.

Yep, almost like its not delayed

So the ESO show is at 3:45 EST, and is “immediately after” the developer direct. So I’d imagine the main show is roughly 40 minutes long

Yep and that’s just the length I was hoping for

Sounds good to me. Nintendo tends to be a little over that and it was great. If Sony can pull it off with their third party SoP as well, which was shorter, Xbox can pull it off too.

If it released in July-September i, and i guess Bethesda too, would want the game to start being talking about as soon as possible so i’d understand a showcase in February or March for it.

This said, i’d rather them having a few extra months to polish it as much as they can, over them releasing in what, May, June? I mean this is not 2022 where we had a serious drought, from March to June we’re most likely getting FM, Redfall, Diablo 4… games that don’t last 10 hours.

I don’t understand the debate about first half for Starfield, i agree last year’s delay sucked hard since it meant we wouldn’t get a first party AAA for like 1,5 years, but i have 0 problems with a September release for Starfield in this case. I understand that people who don’t care about FM or Redfall would want it to release ASAP tho.

All i want for Starfield is for it to be great, to be polished, and personally i’d love to see less enthusiast gamers hyped about it, just like i saw with Cyberpunk and Elden Ring, sadly it’s not the case yet and many friends who play a lot still dont know what Starfield is.

Well you surely want to get the delay out with great gameplay I say march on the Starfield Direct. :stuck_out_tongue:

Also Avowed and Hellblade 2 will be the stars of E3 also belfery.

Hahahaha.

E3 is June. So in the scenario that it does get delayed, June would be fine for another deep dive and then more marketing until September release.

Nah. I think this is a good sign for a H1 launch, I really want to believe it too.
