Wow. Someone with common knowledge at Twitter?! This year is crazy!

  • Elder Scrolls is an MMO so it doesn’t count
  • Forza is a racing game so it doesn’t count
  • Minecraft is for kids
  • Redfall is first person so it doesn’t count
  • Starfield isn’t at the show, therefore it’s been delayed to 2029

There, I brought back balance to the Force.

Super excited to see more Redfall, also was thinking about getting into ESO so I’ll keep my eye on that update as well. Good to know Starfield is getting its own Dev_Direct at some point.

Super excited. Trying to guess when these games will release is a nightmare.

Jan - AoE II

February - Redfall

March - Ghostwire Tokyo

April - Starfield

May - Minecraft Legends

June - Forza Motorsport

August - Golden Eye

September - AoM (PC only)

October - Hellblade 2

December - AoE IV

Honestly I’m likely wrong on most of these but I’d like Redfall while it’s dark outside so sooner rather than later.

Bonus game………Via PiƱata!!! OutSeptember & GoTY winner

I’m excited for this! I’m so amped for Forza!! Even though I enjoy a good shooter (Redfall) and love a good RPG game (Starfield) I’m looking forward to Forza the most. Can’t wait to see what it looks and plays like!

I also like the graphic design on the banner, it has strong hand-crafted/workshop-like vibe.

If the stuff was true about a beta I can see them announcing it for Redfall there. And a release date of the game itself.

Really excited to see more from Redfall. I hope they give us a good look at proper singleplayer gameplay, I want to get a feel for it.

Ill watch it for redfall i and forza. Need dates. 0 interest in ES online.

Zos always does a pretty big showing for their game. So I do wonder how this is going to go, a short preview of the future expansion on D2, followed by their usual run through ESO new area with the devs? I can’t really see them announcing a new IP for this show and then just showing off ESO.

I think Elder Scrolls Online won’t have as much presence in the show as the other 3 because the event that’s happening right after.

Yeah that’s were I’m at as well. ESO will get the big trailer announcing the new expansion/zone followed by the live full on Dev walk through with commentary for it.

Still hope to have Zos announce their new game this year, as I think they will need to start hiring more staff to maintain 2 MMOs in the future.

I bet it will be more of introduction with bullet points. Then tell fans if they want a deep dive, head over to their stream after the show.

Going into office for 7am

How do you guys feel about the underscore in Developer_Direct? Of course, it isn’t a big deal or anything, but I really dislike it.

I’m also surprised that MS isn’t including the word Xbox (or Microsoft, Game Pass, etc.) in the name for branding purposes. The branding Developer_Direct could be applied to any publisher or indie dev team.

Yeah that part of the branding is fantastic imo.

According the wire article it should be ESO’s new chapter update.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Studio Director Matt Firor will unveil 2023’s major Chapter update, including the latest regions of Tamriel to become playable in ESO, as well as a major new feature coming in the game’s biggest update this year.

I hope they don’t add some gimmick like the card game or scrying.

Dark outside for you maybe. Us in the southern hemisphere will have to pull out our blackout curtains for it

Didn’t think of that good point. Always gets me pulling those blackout blinds down in summer.
