I used to like it as well till Shadowfen node farming for Kilt. This was the worst experience I had in ESO.
We will get our own Direct style cycle of disappointment Nintendo fans seem to ‘enjoy’ so much.

Nintendo leave you purposely excited like new Metroid Prime since they won’t tell you in advance, so at least Xbox warned us that Starfield won’t be there.
Nah. Nintendo announce a Indie Direct, fans expect Silksong without any indication whatsoever and are disappointed when it doesn’t show up. Will also happen here with us, people will complain about only FM, Redfall and Minecraft showing up.

yeah that can get ruff, with so many people farming at once it can take forever. Rng has been pretty good for me so far, at least I think it has, as I haven’t experienced the days of farming for 3-4 hours I have seen post on reddit.

Honestly, not sure. Is it meant to be said? Like, are we actually saing Developer Underscore Direct?
I guess not - that’d be tedious. But in truth I like it, as it associates with the Nintendo Direct stuff, but also highlights that this is the developers showing us their work. It’s a neat and new approach, that should be a good way to drum up hype credits, something that MS are not entirely good at doing.
Throughout the year we get a few Nintendo Directs, and a few State of Plays of varying sizes; if this is a 40 minute “show”, and then later in the year we get an E3 D_D, and then an autumn D_D, then that’s cool.
Also, I like D_D as a abbrevation…
That sounds like folks who takes the film title too literal, whether they’re trying to be funny or not, like with the recent one, Megan. It has a 3 in it, so they name the title with emphasis on 3. Case in point, don’t think too hard.

The Microsoft_Xbox_former_Zenimax_BETHESDA.DIRECTX has a nucer ring to it.
The underscore is a reference to their early days with computing program, so you got the right sense. Was this name trying to challenge Capcom old days where they were going crazy on naming?

the uderscore, white board aesthetic fits perfectly with MS considering they are the largest SOFTWARE company in the world and they have finally embraced xbox as an extension of that and not a side project.
Xbox_Developer_Direct.exe would have been too on the nose, I guess.
