be that as it may, the trailer clearly gets across the point that you will be fighting vampires and cultists as characters with unique abilities and powers. and keep in mind this aint the only time they will show off the game, so you really don’t need to know more than that.
Sometimes people just forget that Xbox is under Microsoft and not Bill & Melinda Foundation,

This! I read it as I want Xbox games but I don’t want to buy a Xbox. This is why Microsoft is making game streaming a thing because I would argue a lot of PlayStation fans are like this, rusted on and would never buy a Xbox console even if they wanted to play Xbox games. There is nothing wrong with that but you don’t get to have your cake and eat it. Pony up and by a series s, buy a gaming pc or play on cloud streaming.
There was simply no way Halo was going to release last year, everything just looked unfinished which is obvious but usually we see games in a much better state lol. Having seen the multiplayer footage in 4K multiple times now the improvements are enormous and this is the multiplayer which I suspect the graphics are more toned down due to having to run on older hardware at 60fps.

BGS games always have a cool prologue. Oblivion had you starting underground in a cell, I remember how cool the physics of the chain was there, haha, the small things.
Fallout 3 had a fantastic prologue, truly awesome how they unfolded and then when you get out of the vault…wow. Skyrim was nice to in the carriage and then the escape (never understood why some people shit on the prologue) and Fallout 4 was cool too.
I can only imagine how cool Starfield will start off. Could it by chance actually start on earth and that we really fly up into space, similar like Deliver us the Moon? Nobody knows but it excites me to think about it. It’s one thing I hope doesn’t get leaked and if Tubers get early copies I’ll ignore it 100%. BGS prologues are something special.

I don’t get why for some people Xbox is almost a bad word, PS has literally brainwashed people over the years. Xbox has its fanatics, but most users are price and quality sensitive, for example here I never saw fanboy takes like other platform focused sites (or not XD).
Does anybody find it weird that they didn’t announce The Outer Worlds as an Xbox Exclusive? Not on the trailer or on the Xbox website where they specifically described Starfield and Redfall as exclusive.
It was, before the trailer it clearly said “Xbox Console Exclusive”. For Bethesda titles they added the huge text to clarify even more… XD

They probably never thought about it & just assumed that everyone knows Obsidian games are exclusive anyway.
With the new Bethesda games, it was a whole continuing debate that had to be clarified.

When Phil Spencer said that one word, you just knew people were going to run with it & sure enough…
Phil has also clearly listed TES VI among Xbox rpgs, Wolfenstein and Doom among Xbox shooters, but I didn’t see many outlets report this thing, it’s a clear hint to what’s coming. For now outlets are going with the “only new IPs are exclusive” narrative, they are setting fanboys for another disappointment.
