Yes, since Thursday.

It’s so good that the Series S version of the game is actually a good version to play. You are not getting a compromised experience in my opinion.

Nate Drake:

FF7 Remake is not a current plan. Could it happen, eventually? Sure. Is it an active plan at this moment? No. A Switch 2 release exists in the same way an Xbox release does. IF Square wants to do it, they can & will; but no such plan exists at the present.

However, is he really the ā€œrealā€ Nate Drake I wonder, the leaker, ā€œinsiderā€ that has given us correct stuff before?

This is a problem with all their games so far, even the ones I really like. I’m hoping AW2 with the dual protagonist setup can finally minimize that issue about their games.

Yeah it’s the same person

Just why would they not?

Sound like utter nonsense

If there’s no Sony contract in place they’d be getting these ports out for both switch and xbox

It’s basically their biggest title bar FF14, so if there’s no Sony contract there’s no reason to not do it, especially with the Xbox relationship in a better place

Ya’ll got to let that game go. And the reason they probably don’t want to do it is because the game’s producers don’t want to go through the work of adding another platform.

lol it’s more about the producers/directors having an insane amount of input when it comes decisions about platforms at SE. If Kitase wanted the game on Xbox or Switch 2, it would be there.

They are 2 billion down the drain

If it’s a producer problem, then it’s time to make some changes as they are clearly a liability

Nate Drake is not very reliable when it comes to Japanese developers. If he was Persona 6 would’ve been announced by now.

I have no idea, but I’m just gonna forget about it. It is what it is. Sarah Bond did say she was working on it, but really, who knows at this point.

Hmmm, I see. But things can change. I mean take the stuff about Capcom with a yet to be announced game that will sell millions and should release by March 2024. I don’t see that happening, perhaps things changed.

I don’t doubt Phil and Sarah want FF7R to happen, but personally at this point I’m just done with this shit, lol. If I get a PS5 (Pro) next year, I’m gonna play it on that. Unless a miracle happens and Xbox gets part 1 before a possible PS5 Pro releases.

Agreed. I still have Diablo IV, Like a Dragon Ishin and Immortals of Aveum that I want to play but im waiting for them to hit Game Pass/EA Play especially since the first two are guaranteed at some point.

And of course, I still have to get through Starfield which won’t be until January/February. 2023 is a packed and stacked 20 game year for me which is double what I had in 2021 and 2022.

There’s going to be a whole alot of snubs on the GOTY list lol.

Agreed.

For The Game Awards, my 6 game prediction is -

  1. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
  2. Baldur’s Gate 3
  3. Street Fighter 6
  4. Marvel’s Spider Man 2
  5. Sea of Stars or Octopath Traveler 2
  6. Starfield

My prediction as to which game will win - Zelda.

I agree, this year has been so great thus far, that it wouldn’t even do them justice to do a GOTY list this year. There is much more than 6.

Call me crazy, but as sad as it is, i wouldn’t be surprised to see Starfield being snubbed. The way some medias went after this game just because it is an exclusive was really weird.

It wouldn’t surprise me either and it wouldn’t surprise me to see Final Fantasy XVI take it’s place. If Starfield was a PlayStation 5 exclusive, add 10 points so it’s an easy 96 on Open Critic, easily. I have no doubt in my mind about that because you can simply see it.

I personally don’t expect SF6 to get nominated, fighting games just don’t get that love
